Succeeding in SEO

Your Keywords are Number 1!!

Use targeted keywords and take them to design your web pages around them using a 6% ratio. Long tail keywords for SEO are the ones that work the best. If possible incorporate them in your Title Page as well.

Your Content

Have good quality content. No fluff! Write articles and post them. Information is what drives the search engine. Always update your website on a weekly basis for maximum SEO. Products and informative articles that are on topic to your niche combined with your keywords equal higher rankings.

Article Marketing

Write articles and submit them to several places such as Ezine Articles, GoArticles, Articles Plus, Hubpages, and Squidoo. In the resource box, where available, add your links along with the description of what you offer .Don’t forget to use the power of social sites as well. Many places allow you to post your articles. Use the power of RSS feeds to add more exposure. Have your articles be informative with current up to date topics. Your word count needs to be at least 300 to 500 words. Check each site for their requirements.

Link Building

Use niche related sites to build backlinks that are related to your specific keywords. Be careful of your anchor text so that you links are clickable.

Google Analytics

Analytics is the measurement of those that visit your website. The reason that I have included this in here is because it is imperative for you to use this to increase your sales, visitors, and SEO. I decided to describe all factors that are of greatest importance here.

What do your customers do when they visit your website? Using this information can increase your sales and SEO rankings.

Where are they coming from? Understanding this will guide you in your niche efforts.

Are they returning? You need to use different technique in this process and if you are not receiving returning visitors, then you need to reexamine you SEO factors.

What actions are the visitors taking? Develop ideas and determine what goals you want to achieve. Follow through with a plan.

Keywords, Again Your Number 1!!! If your keywords are not producing results go back to the beginning and rework the process.

There are so many stories online that tell you about how there is great businesses to be made online. The only problem is that there are many times that maybe hundred times that which contradict those winner stories. These stories we seldom hear about. Many have tried to launch a business enterprise on the Internet but only a handful will succeed.

Social Bookmark sites are public depositories of bookmarks saved to one location or site. These public bookmark sites are like a public billboard for bookmarked sites of everyone that chooses to place bookmarks there. Basically if you are surfing the internet and come across a site of interest that you want to comeback to at a later date, then you would normally bookmark that site, to your favorites in your browsers toolbar. Now in this case, with Social Bookmarking sites, you don’t just save it to your browsers favorites but you also save it to a bookmark site. Like Digg or propeller,Slashdot, del.icio.us, stumbleupon, and many others. These sites will usually have some sort of button that you can drag to your toolbar , which when clicked will save that that webpage to that bookmarking site.

Bookmarking sites like the ones mentioned above “Digg” etc.. usually have a very good ranking in the search engines due to the fact that many people use them. They have millions of pages indexed in Google and Yahoo search engines and have high Page rank. I can’t explain page rank in detail but it is a scale from one to ten. The higher the pagerank of your website the more google will like your site and give it favorable listings. To obtain high pagerank one should try to link ones own page to high ranking pages like bookmarking sites. The more sites you link to with high pagerank the higher your own page rank will grow over time.

How do I bookmark my site to many social bookmark sites?

The best method to bookmark your website or blog to as many social bookmark sites as possible. Through the use of a social book mark service or a submitter program. There are quite a few free submitters available online. As well there are paid submitters, or even paid submission services as in outsourced human submitters from different countries where the cost of Labour is less than in Western Europe or North America.

To conclude this article submitting to many social bookmark services is a good way to get a website indexed in the search engines. To get traffic to a blog or website, and to increase the pages search engine rankings.
