Easy way to gain traffic to your website

Around the internet marketing world, you’ll find a lot of gurus, who claims that they have now found the recipe to attract a lot of visitors to your website. Some of them are actually right, but many of them aren’t anything but scammers. In this article I’ll talk about a one of these ways, one that actually does work.

Viral marketing is my answer, or should I say video marketing. It has never been easier to record, produce, and distribute videos than today. There are several reasons why you should use video as an active element in your online campaigns:

- It’s free to create videos - It’s free to publish videos - Your videos can easily rank high in search engines - You can use your videos to attract a lot of visitors

The way you should do this, is by creating small entertaining videos, which are related to your little niche website. For example if you have an adsense website about yoga, you should make some videos about yoga poses, or maybe funny yoga clips. In the info box on the video pages that you submit your videos at, you should link to your website. This is as easy as it sounds.

If you will go a little more pro, than you can do with Windows Movie Maker, I recommend that you download Camtasia Studie, which is free to try for 30 days. With Camtasia Studio you can record great screen captures, so that you can create tutorials for your visitors.

Try it out, make a lot of different videos, and see if this marketing method works for you.

Succeeding in SEO

Your Keywords are Number 1!!

Use targeted keywords and take them to design your web pages around them using a 6% ratio. Long tail keywords for SEO are the ones that work the best. If possible incorporate them in your Title Page as well.

Your Content

Have good quality content. No fluff! Write articles and post them. Information is what drives the search engine. Always update your website on a weekly basis for maximum SEO. Products and informative articles that are on topic to your niche combined with your keywords equal higher rankings.

Article Marketing

Write articles and submit them to several places such as Ezine Articles, GoArticles, Articles Plus, Hubpages, and Squidoo. In the resource box, where available, add your links along with the description of what you offer .Don’t forget to use the power of social sites as well. Many places allow you to post your articles. Use the power of RSS feeds to add more exposure. Have your articles be informative with current up to date topics. Your word count needs to be at least 300 to 500 words. Check each site for their requirements.

Link Building

Use niche related sites to build backlinks that are related to your specific keywords. Be careful of your anchor text so that you links are clickable.

Google Analytics

Analytics is the measurement of those that visit your website. The reason that I have included this in here is because it is imperative for you to use this to increase your sales, visitors, and SEO. I decided to describe all factors that are of greatest importance here.

What do your customers do when they visit your website? Using this information can increase your sales and SEO rankings.

Where are they coming from? Understanding this will guide you in your niche efforts.

Are they returning? You need to use different technique in this process and if you are not receiving returning visitors, then you need to reexamine you SEO factors.

What actions are the visitors taking? Develop ideas and determine what goals you want to achieve. Follow through with a plan.

Keywords, Again Your Number 1!!! If your keywords are not producing results go back to the beginning and rework the process.

Finding Free Web Traffic

Whether you are a newbie or a veteran at internet marketing we all have the same problem objective and that is to get traffic to our websites so that people will purchase the goods or services we are promoting. If we are able to generate low or zero cost traffic consistently to our website or websites then we have created a wonderful potential business. The cost of gaining web traffic is obviously important and often makes the difference between success or failure of an online business.

There are, however, several different criteria that we need to consider before even deciding how to promote our business. Let us take a brief look at some of the considerations and business types below:-

1. We may wish to promote a product of our own. You maybe part of a corporate organisation or sole trader but you have developed a product you wish to promote. If you are part of a large organisation then clearly there are likely to be large promotional budgets either specifically for promoting a given product or your product benefits from the general promotion of the company or other products within the organisation. If you are in this position then each product sold generates 100% profit less direct cost of manufacture or distribution. You may even wish to take your product to market via affiliate sales and therefore looking to promote the product to encourage affiliate sales.

2. You may wish to promote affiliate products. There are a wide range of products to choose from and again this helps define the type of promotion you wish to adopt. Gaining free or low cost web traffic is very important here since there is a known margin or profit per sale. If for example you are promoting an ebook then you may receive 50 percent of the total sales price. If the sale price is $30 then your own profit would be $15. Ideally you want to retain as much of the $15 as possible and you certainly do not want to spend $20 in promotional or advertising costs to gain the sale. There individual companies with there own affiliate programs or specialist companies which handle hundreds of different affiliate programs (Clickbank is a very popular example).

3. You may wish to make commission sales, which could be achieved through an affiliate sales program. I differentiate here in a subtle way from the above because this could be an add-on sale. For example you maybe promoting world cruises and gain a small percentage commission based on each booking of a cruise. You could however have other add on business which maybe of interest once some one reaches your site and may, in fact, generate more revenue than the cruise booking commissions. In addition to you main promotion you may sell an ebook covering many aspects of cruising and you sell add on travel insurance, hotel bookings and possible vehicle hire. As you can see this situation would make it a little more difficult to access exactly how much money you could justify on spending and you’d need to monitor clearly what revenue was attributable to this site.

Having said all the above and you maybe able to relate your own circumstances to part or all of the one of the above classifications, you still need to consider how to promote your site to attract customers and attracting lost cost web traffic is a huge benefit.
